Did a fresh install of rc3 with todays svn as well as todays tvserver.

Analog channels work only the first time.
    Example:
    Start TVServer config program.
    Preview analog channel 32. Works fine. Tuner locked = yes; Freq=0; Channel=32; tuner=Antenna; Video=Tuner.
    Close preview.
Preview analog channel 11. Do not work. Tuner locked = no; Freq=0; Channel=11; tuner=Antenna; Video=Tuner.
    Close preview.
Try analog channel 32 again. Do not work. Tuner locked = no; Freq=0; Channel=32; tuner=Antenna; Video=Tuner.

If I restart the service, the fist preview attemp will work again. Even if it is another channel (like 11).
Same problem when changing the channels in MediaPortal.

Tried it with and without TSReader. No influence.

    Windows XP.

I can confirm this bug. It does exactly as rekenaar described. It actually doesn't matter which tv channel you are tuner to. The bug happens on the same channel (any channel).

    To reproduce:
    1. Start tvservice
    2. Start mediaportal (same machine or different pc, doesn't matter).

    -- Then
    3. Switch on TV. Everything is fine.
    4. Stop TV.

    --Ang again
    5. Start TV again. No audio.
    6. Stop TV.

And from this, audio never comes back until tvservice restarted. I've checked the timeshift file, it does not have valid audio stream.

Attached 2 logs. A working one (first attempt) and a not working one (second attempt) for comparison. The first log has been created by step 3+4 above, the second has been created by step 5+6.

    My environment:
    TV-Server Version: SVN16374
    MediaPortal Version: Same
    MediaPortal Skin: BlueTwo wide
Windows Version: XP Prof. SP2 w. updates
    CPU Type: AMD X2 4400+
    HDD: Samsung 250GB
    Memory: 1GB
    Motherboard: ASUS
    Video Card: NVidia 7600 GS
    Video Card Driver: FWare 162.18
    1. TV Card: HAUPPAUGE MC150
    1. TV Card Type: Analog
    1. TV Card Driver: Latest
    MPEG2 Video Codec: PowerDVD7
    MPEG2 Audio Codec: ffdshow
    Remote: MCE
    TV: Samsung CRT, Toshiba Proj.
TV - HTPC Connection: S-Video, DVI

    Cheers,
    Peter

Ok, I did a quick test, and found the problem. The "guilty" is the patch applied to the SVN as rev. 16333 on 23th oct. Rem-ed out those modifications, compiled, and now everything works fine.

I have some "family duty" now, but later I'll look it a little closer and try to locate the exact place and the exact why. (I need to tell that this is the first time i looked into tvserver's code, so don't expect too much :) )

    cheers,
    Peter

Edit: I found the problem, and the fix. It is here: fix

I am glad that I am not the only one with the problem. Otherwise it could have been something specific to my setup - much longer to identify and fix.

    Thanks to others who reported.
Big thanks to peterk2007 and tourettes.

Now the BIG problem - waiting for the next build......

    I confirm too,

I have two tuners, Nova-T Stick and PVR250, Nova-T is working with audio, PVR250 shows the behaviour mentioned above (only one time audio...)

waiting for next build, thanks, Tobi
