Hi, after renaming all episodes, christmas episodes and specials they all import perfectly (no red lines on import). I just have a problem: the 1981 christmas episode shows up correctly in series 1 but also shows at the top of series 2! No matter what setting I try it just remains the same. Looks ok in the importer (structure).

any ideas? Any way to hack the list manually?

thanks :)

Is it in the correct season folders (specials) on your HDD? Could it have a duplicate, misnamed, file in the specials or season 2 folders? Just in case the importer screwed up.

Hi, thanks for your reply. The files in the folder are spot on as ive spent a lot of time on them. The structure in the importer looks ok. You can't hide it either as it also hides the one thats in the correct place! ive imported about 10 times but it remains the same. Its crazy!

    According to: http://www.thetvdb.com/?tab=seasonall&id=75628&lid=7

There are two Christmas specials "Christmas Crackers" is configured to appear "before 2x01, airs after S01, but is still cofigured as part of S01"
and "Chistmas Trees" is configured to appear "airs after S02, and is part of S02"

I think the confusing configuration on "Christmas Crackers" is freaking MP-TVSeries out and showing it as both part of S01 and S02. One easy solution is to configure MP-TVSeries to not list the specials along with the episodes, so that they remain in their own 'Season' called 'Specials'

@ltfearme might be able to look at the logic though and see if he can fix it for this weird side case (which should probably be edited at TheTVdB side if you ask me)

Not much can be done if TVDb is configured to display in both, I can't guess which is right so the correct solution is to do what it does or disable displaying specials inline to seasons.

I was more thinking of an extra rule. Seems TheTVdB doesn't support "after episode", so to make a special appear last on a season, you have to edit it to show before first episode of new season. The "DVD Season" and "Airs after Season" values give the right answer as to what season the episode belongs to.

    Case in point: http://www.thetvdb.com/index.php?tab=episode&seriesid=75628&seasonid=23089&id=174101

If you look at the "Airs before info" only and you extract season information from there, then you would end up with S02 and show it before 2x01.
If you look at the "DVD Season" or the "Airs after Season" info you get S01.

So not sure what logic you currently use.
