Some encrypted channels won't get decrypted by the CAM, where the same CAM works in MythTV. The provider I'm using is "TV VLAANDEREN" (a local brand of CANAL DIGITAL). On my MythTV box I'm able to decrypt my TV VLAANDEREN channels & my CANAL DIGITAL channels, but with MediaPortal I'm only able to decrypt the TV VLAANDEREN channels. My setupbox (without the cam, but just the smartcard) shows the same behaviour as my MythTV box.

(You might wonder why I'm "playing around" with mediaportal instead of sticking with mythtv. The reason is simple; I'm sick and tired of ATI support, which can be overcome with an nvidia card, yet I'm curious whether or not MediaPortal is faster in channels changes.)

Anyway, thanks in advance for the help!

Note: the latest svn build gives the same situation, also with the a custom "tt api"-dll that I found on the forum

Got the same behaviour with some PREMIERE channels, e.g. the SPORTPORTAL channel won't get decrypted. With the same setup and FireDTV Viewer (based on DVBViewer) the channel is decrypted.

Tested some more, played with different waiting times for unscrambled signal & timeshift files (even higher than 30s) and after that with different Scan settings but no success.

The TVServer logs showed some kind of PROBLEM:
