Anyone has the issue of slow scrolling after loading MP with MCE Replacmement tray? If you exit from MP and reload MP with the Green button, what I have noticed is that the menu scrolling become lag and slow until you actually use the mouse and do a single click on anywhere on the MP screen and the scrolling went back to normal.

and-81 - i had an idea last night for a possible new feature in your plugin. bare with me while i try and explain it in my lame style

what i'm thinking is that there could be an option in the event mapper for the GUI_MSG_CLICKED event, and then under that an option to set the SenderControlId to listen for. Then, a user (ie, me ) could edit the skin files as they see fit and add buttons with a unique id to the screens. The event mapper would be able to listen for a click event on these buttons, and run a corresponding macro.

This could be a really powerful feature - for instance, i'd use it to add a few extra buttons to the 'now playing' screen, for things like 'Switch EQ', 'Loudness', and 'Speaker Set'. Each button would have a unique ID (say... 55551, 55552, and 55553). THen in the event mapper, i'd setup a 'GUI_MSG_CLICKED' event for SenderControlID 55551 to blast out the command to my amp which switches the eq on or off. And again for 55552 to switch loudness on/off, etc.... The possibilities are basically endless! (for people who don't mind getting their hands dirty with a bit of basic skin xml coding )

What's your thoughts? Would this sort of thing be possible?

Sounds good to me.

I was going to improve the event mapper to match the different parameters of the event messages. And this is something that would be a perfect reason to do that.

I'll jump on it and see if I can get it working. I'll post a test copy here for you to test within the next few days.

I remember you mentioning somewhere that your plug-in will not automatically change channels for a scheduled recording. Is this still the case?

To be honest I have not tried it, I just remember reading somewhere that it would not work if tried. I will try doing it this evening and let you know. Just to clarify, I'm talking about the IR-Blaster not changing the channel on the external top-set-box.

By the way you saved me a lot of effort by using this plug-in...thanks again for the great work.

OK, I've done some testing and it changed the channels on most cases. Sometimes the channels were not changing correctly, but that is something that is also happening when I use my MCE remote. Sometimes the ir-blasters send double digits, but I'm still trying to figure that one out.
