Installed the directX update (you can get this via the microsoft download center it is NOT listed in autmatic updates and released yesterday!!!). There is NO NEED TO INSTALL THE COMPLETE SDK!!!

I installed the directx update and the PNG file inside the root banners directory and all works fine now This plugin really does MP for me

I got one error: Can't find AVI index

I WISH that the my movies database was like this plugin (maybe this plugin is easily integrated?), i now have three directories.

DVD movies
Dvd series
HD movies.

With MP TVseries replacing my movies this would all be integrated into one with a far better GUI

I got one error: Can't find AVI index

When do you get this error and what does the log say? Does the file still play? I'm going to have to assume its a corrupt file/download which screwed up the index. It's just weird because if it still opens the resoultion should be able to be read out. Don't think theres much I can do about it.

It was the DirectX Dec06 update that I was missing on the compiling pc.
Now everything works sweeet!!!!

Hi all,
i just downloaded the 0.9 and like stated in the "instruction"
- Copy the dll in the Release folder of the zip file into the Plugins/Windows folder of your MediaPortal folder

the release folder of mine is completely empty.
i've tried downloading it from 3 pc's with all the same result.
(also windows hidden files is disabled,to allow to view the dlls)
is there another way i can enjoy this perfect addon

Download the file from Source Forge instead, version 0.9 is correctly uploaded there with the dll file.

A suggestion. It's possible to download the file in a temporary folder ? If yes, when the download is finish, we move the file to the good directory and we can rename it with a template like int the recording custom path and filename : Ex : %title%\Saison %series%\%title% - %series%x%episode% - %name%
Also, the file is not visible from the TV Plugin and we know that is not finish. We can add a flag to know that this episode is curently downloading.

I think the problem is not when it's done downloading, but when it's done seeding - i.e. uploading. Pulling the file from the network right when it finishes weakens the BitTorrent network as a whole.

Perhaps to solve this problem, the user could specify a seeding ratio to reach before moving the file? With a timer backup in case no one wants to download from you.

I'm not sure what the uTorrent API is like and whether you actually have access to stats like that, though.

Yeah seeding is very important!!! It shouldn't be hard to get any stats from Utorrent webinterface (Very nice btw) it is opensouce after all. so i guess the
Or maybe using the webui is not required maybe there is an easier method, eg as mentioned utorrent API.

sequence would go something like this:

1.Download file to temp location (Preferably polling download progress from utorrent )
2.On compleation copy and rename the file to the correct location and update the database.
3.delete file from temp location after seeding raeches speficified ratio(Again polled from utorrent)

Yeah sounds simple when you put it like that, but I guess there is quite a few hours involved!!! Us greedy users allways wanting more!!! ;-)
