Hi!

i'm am tryign to install this plugin, i haved downloaded the latest version from this site several times now and the dll file is nowwhere to be found.

am I stupid or is this a small miss from someone....please help

No promises on a timeline.....but we are currently aiming at enabling the scenerio with the docus and many many more scenarios. With the db so many things are possible, it is just a matter of exposing them in a nice way to give power to users without making it overly complicated. For those scratching their heads right now...I am talking about different configurable views on your data (like group by genre/actors...or... show episodes from all scifi-series sorted by their airdate...or whatever).

That being said, would you guys prefer having maximum power over exactly what to display and how (well....in the realm of whats available in the db) or would you say simplicity of setting up these things is key...which would enable many scenerios too but probably not all. Would you be opposed to being required to enter parts of sql statements in the first release of this feature to setup custom views?

Again, don't hold your breaths.....time is short, we are talking weeks here and not days.

This is a hard one. I would like to be able to change every aspect but then again you don't want it so you need to read up on it for a few hours before you can do it (Like I have GOT to get around to doing with the parsing function! ;-)) Maybe a simple system that you could somehow keep going down the levels if you want to change the default options?

Also I work with SQL server as a job so I wouldn't mind! :-P Maybe in the beta's to get the rest correct and then the people with SQL knolage could help anyone who wanted to try a simple options before the UI is finished?

I´ve set a minimum resolution for my HD series (800×500).
The hdlogo.png is in the root banner map.
And I have scanned all my series, and there is hr value on my hd series.
I´ve installed the .net framework 3.0.

Can someone give me a quick briefing to make this work?

Did it read out the Resolutions? You can check this by looking at an episode you think should be HD in the configuration utility. You should have values there for videoWidth and videoHeight.

The HR value actually has nothing to do with the hd feature.....its something zeflash introduced with some new default regex. It actually has no use right now.

Re: features vs simplicity. I think as long as the default install works in a simple way "out of the box" then having the options to turn on more and more features within the config is great. That way people can take it just as far as they like.

I think this is a very sound and sensible approach!

Instruction how to add series on DVD

First i wanna thank also for this plugin that completes my HTPC.

Now, I tried to add series (DIVX) on DVD to database and have some problems.

I can add files from DVD to database and everything works fine as long as disk is in drive, but if disc is not in drive i can't see series in list of my tv series.

What I would like to do is that when I enter list of my tv-series I can select series that actually is offline and then MP asks me to put in correct DVD.

I cant see even the cover art of series if the disc is not in drive. In Database there is column for DiscID So could someone tell me how offline-link is created?

No, you dont have to do anything else, it should just work. What skin do you use?

Right now i use "Project Mayhem 3" have also tried "BlueTwo wide"

And I´m not quite sure but my the search path to hdlogo.png is x:\program\mediaportal\sources\MP-TVseries\banners\hdlogo.png
is that right?
