Hi

I'm also having the same problems. MP-TV Series screen is completely blank.
I tried opening some other plugins but no luck. Has anyone got an idea how to fix the problem?

I am having trouble with the plugin. The importing of all my episode works great, but when I go to the plugin in MP the whole screen is blank. I am using the skin files included in the .zip file with the plugin. Anyone else having this problem?

MP version 0.2.1.0
MP-TVSeries version 0.3b

I thought everything would be backward compatible, but maybe it's not the case
Can you check what's displayed in the display control tab in configuration? You should have plenty of green strings (like <Series.Pretty_Name> and such)

tonight I played with release 0.3 which worked like a charm. Now after upgrading to 0.3b I have the same problem as hobbes and jiih.

The display tab is filled with info. I just removed the series and episode air dates.

No error in neither your nor the main log file.

ccMatrix i think its better to use http://tvdb.zsori.com/ database since this plugin is using that.

Another question, i am using win2003srv for my file server and the right click function dosent seem to appear. Any ideas why?

Since tvdb has some confusing episode numbering for some series (especially with special episode) I prefer episodeworld at the moment. It also has a nice feature to display all episodes and the episode information on one page which makes parsing much easier and requires me to only download one url for each series. But when tvdb is cleaned up a bit more and has some consistent numbering rules I could edit the onlineparser to use tvdb instead.

@szori: How about a php script that will display all the information for a series on one page. Maybe just in an xml format which makes parsing easier for plugins ? If this already exist please let me know

As for the win2003srv problem: Did you restart the server or the explorer (just killing the explorer process(es) and then launching explorer again will force the explorer to reload all context plugins? Also the right click function does only appear for avi files at the moment (It was just a test at the moment but adding other file extensions shouldn't be a problem since the parsing and modifying functions are extension-independent.

i did restart the whole server not just the explorer. i checked it on both avi and mkv files but it still dosent show. this is strange.

I've uploaded a new setup for the tool. Please try it. I guess it was because I used the key "avifile" to add the context menu handler which might be different on your machine if you have a different media player installed than I have. It now also registers itself into the context menu of mkv and mpg files.

my MP-TV series seems to refreshing banners and updating series over and over again.
If i do it only on 1 of the 3 HDs i have than it completes, but when i do it on all 3 it won't stop.
And i have to do all 3 at the same time or the details will only list the episodes on the 3rd HD.

second: Is it possible to have different views for the series, seasons and episodes?

ie series and seasons always shown as big icons
and the episodes shown as list

Hi!

Thanks for a great plugin! In my opinion it's one of the best there is for MP!

But I have a problem/question,

Until yesterday I used the earlier versions of this plugin just fine. But now that I Installed the new release, it just won't work. The import-part (configuration) works just great, but when I start it up in Mediaportal it won't show anything.
Anyhow, I thought I would go back to the earlier version and use that for now. But then that won't work either =/. Maybe it's just me that don't remember where to put the plugin-files (after the plugin stopped working, I made a clean install of media portal).

Can someone tell me where to put all the files? I've tried to put them like this without any luck:

\MediaPortal\Plugins\Windows\MP-TVSeries.dll
\MediaPortal\Plugins\MP-TVSeries\
\MediaPortal\Plugins\Test MP-TVSeries\
\MediaPortal\Plugins\skin files\ (I've also put these in the skin-section of mediaportal
