Dang :( Sorry, I tested it last night on my setup with the latest SVN, Blue3wide skin. (see attached.) Let me know how 1.1 turnes out...

    Thanks,
    Wile E.

    Wile E,
1.1 loaded and works well. It still exhibits the same things we have previously discussed.
No reflection (what folder should that file be in? any other suggestions?)
The dvd and blueray icons in the center of the screen are missing, (see the thumbnail you posted) what are the file names for them? Where are they located?

Also, If you happen to not have an internet connection when netflix first loads it puts a black screen with the message "missing or invalid file"

As soon as the internet connection was established that message disappears.

So far so good I really like the new look and feel of the plugin. great job!

    Hey winterescape,
If I remember correctly, you are using MP 1.0.2? I developed the new version and skins against the Dec. SVN of MP 1.1, so maybe that is my issue?

The icons are located in the skin folder Blue3Wide->Media->Logos. Again, I wonder if this is a MP 1.1 thing?

I will look into the internet connection issue. After timeout I will display a message to say there is no connectivity and send the user back to the Home page. Good catch!

Thanks again for all your testing!
    Wile E.

    Hey everybody. Love the plugin.

Just wondering if anybody has any snazzy netflix-themed homescreen background images for streamedmp that I could use with this? I've been looking around, but can't find anything worthwhile that is in the 720/1080p resolution range.

Thanks! (and sorry if this isn't the place to ask!)

    Hey BlueBomber,

Awesome... just awesome....One little thing I noticed is when using filmstrip view, if I use my remote to highlight the arrows for paging, and hit OK, it does not go to the next, or previous page, but starts the movie I was on before moving to the arrow. I hope I have described clearly enough what I am seeing.

    Hey Sourcerer,
To make sure I understand, the spin control will let you get focus but when you hit the OK button the movie starts to play. Two things...

    - Which skin are you using?
    - In the Config, do you have the "Show Details when selecting an Instant movie" checked? (this option is on the Settings tab.)

Glad your enjoying the new version... :)

Re: [plugin] "My NetFlix" Plugin with Watch Now Support

First, thanks for the great plug-in. This is a great step moving to how media will be commonly delivered in the future.
Now the problems I have run into. First, when I try to "play" a film from the instant que a log-in window pops up. I try to log in, but some keys don't display/type. (In particular the "a" key doesn't work Mos do, but it seems some don't)). If I simply go to the netflix site with IE8 (32b) everything works just fine. The second issue I ran into is that I can't put selections into the instant que from "Top Selections" I simply get an error message telling me that an error occurred.
I'm using last SVN in a WIN7 (64) environment. Could well have something to do with my system setup. Where can I find the logs from the plug-in activity?
    Thanks for any thoughts

I thin I answered my own question about the logs. Found logging in the MP log. I'll try to understand what happens a little more completely and report back:oops:

Not a lot of answers in the log concerning the log-in issues. Keys that don't work are"a","s" and "v". Log is attached

This seems to be the pertinent par t(from error.log) related to the inability to add to the que from TOP 100 or TOP25.

    Hey Jonesdb,
The first issue you have is typically because you are not logged into Netflix from a browser. Is it remembering your login credentials? The reason you cant type certain keys is when the movie starts, the autokey scripts take over your keyboard.

Your second issue was addressed in the latest version of the My Netflix Plugin. Are you running the RC1 final? (You can download from the first post of the thread.)

    Thanks!
    Wile E.
