I'm still having the same problem as tx_guy. With movies stored on the Hard Disk. The field is I believe correct in ANT the movie is selected to play, the screen goes black but there is no playback of the the movie.

Can you read it with the standard Video plugin ? If not it's maybe a codec problem...
I notice another problem with the new RC4 version, sometimes with the ProjectX skin I have the same symptom when reading a movie if the button panel overlay is visible. I have to pass in fullscreen to see the movie.... If the buttons are visibles, the scrren remains black

Which info do you put in the corresponding item of the value 'Ant Item for Storage File Info' in your database ?
I think it should be :
D:\Movies\The Matrix\VIDEO_TS\VIDEO_TS.IFO

You are quite correct. I've made the change, still no joy. The log says it is playing E:\VIDEO_TS\VIDEO_TS.IFO

It still wants to play the movie from the DVD Drive. If I have a DVD in the drive and select for example The Matrix from MyFilms it will ask if I want to resume playing, as I've already played it from MyVideos. It will then proceed to play the DVD in the DVD Drive not the requested film.

I could make a sample ANT database if that would be of any use.

Yes, it could be usefull; Give me also an Hard Copy of your parameters (MesFilms setup) and send me all as an PM.

I am having the exact same issues as Surferme. My Films reads the movies from the Ant Database fine, but when selecting Play for a particular movie I get a black screen (if I have a DVD in my DVD drive, it will play that movie regardless of which movie I selected in the My Films list...ex. Have Star Wars in the DVD drive, but select Raising Arizona from My Films, the plugin will play Star Wars).

Media Label in Ant is the field that has the movie location (ie F:\movies\Serenity\video_ts\video_ts.ifo. In the My Films Setup page, Media Label is selected for "Ant item for storage file info"

Can you try to update your filename info directly with the Update button (file) and select the right file on your disk ? So we'll sure that your filename info in ANT is correct.
