Hi GrinRoth,

TV is next on my list together with creating the menu editor I'm using StreamedMP as base for this skin so it would work out of the box but I do not want a release where parts are not "xfactor"... but hopefully it will not be thaaaat looong before a release

I was going to say no but then I realized that it is "only" one xml file. So yes, I will add support for MyEmulators as well.

Thanks! Of course all parts should be xfactor for your releases, but i was more thinking of my mediaportal install at home.
Was thinking to put all files from streamedmp in a skin folder, then copying your skin over it, replacing all files with same name and use that as my skin.
Wouldn't that be possible?

I think that would work fine but as I haven't tested it you could run into bugs that I cannot fix.

Would it be possible to add "news" to your list of plugins

On some screens such as video and music? (not at my HTPC right now), the 'playing now' box is in the top right corner and covers the top items in list view.

BTW, Ive never had a "basic home crash", I dont know what your doing different to the other skins such as streamedmp, but its working well

Hi,

I figure it was just a matter of time before anyone "found" the xfactor site with the source code and started to use the skin . It is ok to do that but I would NOT recommend it. What you can get from the xfactor site is the source files as they are right now (they change a lot every day and are NOT stable NOR TESTED) and not a release not even an aplha. But if you like to start using it it is up to you (it is all open source).

And finally;
Please do not start posting bug reports or problems before I make a release. This will make this skin get a bad rep and that would be a shame.. at least thats my opinion.

Nice to hear that the basic home crash problem has not occurred. I have the same experience on my htpc. Hopefully it will be the same for everyone.

I have added news to plugins that will be supported. It is now 40% completed.

Not much progress to report, but I have at least updated some graphics and optimized png files (see images in first post for the updated graphics).

i really like what ya doing ... but imo you use many different layout styles which is very confusing... clear lines somewhere, a bit brickwall look a like some other places etc... and somewhere (playlist) more futuristic.... also in the suduko and the tetris you use another "font" for the title.... many different ways ... just a thought

i tried your trunk yesterday, and works smoooothly. thou imo the on up and on down in basichome is confusing. maybe its just me. i have made a menu a bit like yours and when i use onup i go to the last link in the submenu and when i push down i go to the first submenu item .. hope you understand what i mean
