Yes, this is because of the cache folder. This folder is;
for Windows XP;
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\cache
for Vista;
C:\Program Data\Team Mediaportal\Mediaportal\Cache
in this folder you find the xfactor folder. Delete that and you are done.
