Hi all,

Now was this really necessary all these excellent screenshots in the last pages will have me skinning all night... No, really, thank you all for the inspiration. I will try to make something like emphatic's mockup and will post some screenies when I'm done.

The design you saw in the video was one I had before releasing the skin. Unfortunately it doesn't exist anymore.

Moving Pictures: How is the text visbility on top of a lighter fan art? Would be interesting to see how much "shadow" is in the side of the screen. Looks awesome, but for some reason, moving my eye's focus from the currently selected poster up to the title feels like a pretty long way. I'd prefer to have the title and perhaps even the genre at the bottom/center.

Keeping the rating at the bottom, that's in line with the other views, right? Because I think it would look better to put that in the top left corner instead. Viewing the layout as a scenario would be (for me):

1. I look at the poster
2. I look at the title
3. If I'm interested in more, I move my glance to the top left corner
4. The rating is high, I want to find out more about plot etc.

But, hey, this is just my opionion.

TV Series: Looks friggin' sweet. Don't think any other skin as such a fan art oriented wide banners view.

You go get your (well deserved) rest now.

I love the new layouts. Can't wait for the next release...
I think it would be perfect if you gave an option to choose whether the summary will be presented or not, especially in TV Series, where you usually don't need it as these are your favourite shows anyway.

This can be done either by using an installer like StreamedMP has (as suggested by revned a few posts earlier). However, instructions as to what part(s) of the XML should be removed(?) would totally do for me. A third option (if possible) is to have two versions of the layout (one with a summary and one without) to choose from in the MP layout menu.

I'm still not quite happy with the two screenshots above. Still laborating. I think Iwill move the thums list from right side to left and have details right after... more screenshots later..

Not sure you are aware of it, Cul8er, but there is an "error" in the reflections of several views - including filmstrip view:

Look between the reflection and the item. This is for all(?) these types.

cul8er, i like the mock up's but the covers need to be bigger, which also means more time scrolling for the film you want to watch, also, you know in tv series you get watched/unwatched icon, can this be worked into moving pictures something subtle i know you have show only unwatched, but sometimes when people come over i wanna show it off lol

I have an idea. What about having a thin blue line around the cover (like an extra frame but more like an overlay) for unwatched, and watched ones get the same line but green. This would clearly show the status difference, yet be more subtle than a friggin' eye icon, right?

On the other hand, I don't know if this icon would work for all the different layouts, or is there a way of using different .png's for different layouts in the My TV-Series plugin? This would of course also look good in Moving Pictures.
