Have you double checked your channel lineup at the zap2it web site? When I had recent problems, it was because zap2it was tinkering with the way that digital channels were numbered.

Try deleting your current channel lineup at the zap2it site, and then make a new one.

Patrick,

Pastebin wasn't working well for me, so I just uploaded it to my domain.
Mediaportal.log: http://www.djshawnee.com/MediaPortal.log
EPG.log: http://www.djshawnee.com/epg.log

I have tried letting it be for several hours, but every channel still says "No Data Available". I don't think any other plugins are using the TVDatabase. The plugin was working fine, then I turned off the computer for a few days since I went on vacation, then turned it back on and this was happening. I didn't install/uninstall anything before this started happening.

Like ClarkM, the channels show up in the Settings for the plugin without any problem.

Again, any help is appreciated. Thank you very much!

Shawn

I think you may have to try deleting your TVDatabase file.
Looks like your programs table may be corrupt.
"database disk image is malformed"

The first few errors are doing a query against tblPrograms:
Code:
12/7/2006 7:25:40 PM SQL:TVDatabaseV21.db3 cmd:sqlite3_step err:ERROR detailed:database disk image is malformed query:

I think(but don't hold me to it) if you backup your channel list to an xml file,
exit, delete the database, go back into configuration and import the channel
list it also saves recorded programs and other information so hopefully you will
not not lose much.

HTH,
patrick

I am getting a crash and a WebException when the plugin tries to get guide data.

epg.log

According to everything I have read, it should be working. The only oddball variable to all this, is that I am using HughesNet as my internet provider.

When I am in the Settings dialog I can pull my channels from Zap2It without a problem.

Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks,
Clark

Hi Clark,

After some research it appears this is/may be a bug in the .Net framework
and has to do with http keep alive / timeout on the webrequest.

There are a couple of different suggested fixes and I can look into it,
but often the fix(workaround) was to reboot (reseting the network card)
and the problem cleared up at least for a little while.

After a re-boot can you tell me if it consistently happens?

If it does I can try a code change that may fix it.

Let me know,
patrick

Hi Patrick -

I have been using your very good plugin with 0.2.1.0, but this weekend am replacing that with the SVN so that I may work on a development project associated with MP.

I see the last SVN version you posted in the thread was here:

https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/showpost.php?p=92458&postcount=270

Can you respond and let me know if there is a later version? I will try to use the one above, and hope for the best, I do consider your plugin to be an essential part of my MP setup.

Thanks for your efforts!

That is the most recent one posted.
I use the SVN version too.

I have been meaning to compile another "release" version but have been
working/playing with a new plugin for MP :)

Thanks,
patrick

I did a quick search through the thread and didn't find what I am looking for so I hope I'm not repeating something.

I just got a HDTV ATSC tuner for my HTPC and have added all of the channels successfully to MP. What I am trying to figure out now is how to get EPG data for those channels. Do I need to add a new lineup in Zap2It? Can someone tell me how to go about mapping the proper EPG data to my new channels?

Yes, like wishywashy said.
Try your adding your local broadcast lineup to you zap2it and that should include the OTA HD channels.

*Should* automatically map them to your scanned channels. Ther were some issues when zap2it changed their nameing scheme but it all works for me now.
