You probably won't have the log because the plug in dosen't even start to generate a log.

Are you sure you are useing the latest version of the plugin?

Help.
Seems for some odd reason Zap2it plugin stopped working.
I have it running on two devices and both don't work. I just did a fresh install of the 2.0 code stream and the latest SVN. No freakin go.
The log shows this message
2006-12-21 20:36:10.078125 [Info.][MPMain]: Unable to start pluginrocessPlugins.EpgGrabber.Zap2itPlugin exceptionystem.MissingMethodException: Method not found: 'Void MediaPortal.GUI.Library.Log.WriteFile(LogType, System.String, System.Object[])'.
at ProcessPlugins.EpgGrabber.Zap2itPlugin.MediaPortal.GUI.Library.IPlugin.Start()
at MediaPortal.GUI.Library.PluginManager.Start()
I don't find an EPG log which a few folks have mentioned in other posts.
I am at a loss.
any advice would be greatly appreciated.

wishywashy is right again

You are using the version of the plugin for the MP stable release.
You need to use the one for SVN.
Logging changed in SVN and that is the reason there are two versions

Hi patrick,

If you could put together a changelog of sorts for the modifications you have made, I can put a link on the first post for these downloads that are working to simplify combing through the posts. I'd also be willing to post the working builds to the main download section if you feel they are stable and working. I am still using the ATSC fix build you published and that has been working flawlessly for me.

If you'd like to, you can Private Message me what you would like me to add to the first post in this thread.

Did you enable channel renaming in the zap2it plugin Advanced Options Tab?

Yeah I have rename checked. More than often when I go into the Zap2it options and re-autoscan for my channels, then hit play... then hit save... I get a operation timed out message. Doesn't always happen but strange. I can't get the callsign to show up. It shows the program info but no way of identifying the channel other than the number.

Hmm, I may not really be sure what you mean, but it will not auto-rename
the channels until you are in MP (not configuration.exe) and it downloads the
lineup and programs this is when it gets the callsigns etc.

If it is still not working post the epg.log file to http://pastebin.team-mediaportal.com/
after an update.

P.S. I would not recommend using the plugin config to control your lineup,
the communication must be given a low priority and often times out.

Which method do you suggest to use for the channel listings (EPG?)? Also, I have to manually assign the channel names to each number?
