Pandora MusicBox 1.3.3 (9 Viewers)

Hey fford...over the last few days when I try to play Pandora Musicbox I keep getting an incompatible version error. I'm updated to 1.2.7. I've uninstalled and reinstalled but still no luck. Thanks for your hard work. My wife and I use the plugin every night.

I jut installed the Pandora MusicBox Plugin version 1.2.7 and it says it is uncompatible when I enter my pandora account information, what do I need to do to fix this?

You need to wait for a new release. In the last day or so Pandora apparently changed the API which broke the plugin.

As I stated above, I will try to take a look at things this evening after I get off work. If the change is not major I should have a new build for you then.

Well I have taken a look at the changes and they are not strait forward at all. So it may take a little bit of time to crack this. I will post again when I have an update.

So I think I will have a new build this evening. There is no telling how long it will be until this build breaks as well but it should get people going again for a while.

As a side note the recent changes basically knocked out every unofficial Pandora client out there. A user of another program called pianobar emailed Pandora about this and they actually responded. Okay I have a new build for everyone. To be entirely honest this build will most likely break before long so please keep this in mind and do not be too upset when things go south again. Sorry! This build should provide a solution for everyone over the weekend though (and hopefully much longer than that!). And in the mean time I will be working on getting us back to a more stable solution. Thanks for your patience.

FForde, thanks for getting a new version out already. Mines not working however... When installing, I'm getting an "Unexpected error" right after where I put in my credentials.

So what's involved in making this an "official" client???

Well it looks like they changed things again over night. I will try to work on a new release this weekend. Sorry guys.

And there is not really any way to make this an "official client" as much as I would like that.
