Synopsis:: - Recording is incomplete and segmented
I scheduled a recording but when it completed, there were 3 separate video files, 2 around 64Kb long and one around 300Mb long. All files were segments of the same scheduled recording. The 64Kb files were blank and the 300Mb file contained the last half of the program.
I checked the vmr9.log file and found something strange. I don't know what it's trying to tell me but here goes:
A good recording looks like this:
07-12-2005 22:58:15 CStreamBufferRecorder::Create() Record D:\MyRecordings\E4_Lost_200512072300p5815.dvr-ms
07-12-2005 22:58:15 CStreamBufferRecorder::Create() done
07-12-2005 22:58:15 CStreamBufferRecorder:tart():0
07-12-2005 22:58:15 CStreamBufferRecorder:tart() start status:0 started:0 stopped:0
07-12-2005 22:58:15 CStreamBufferRecorder:tart() done
08-12-2005 00:02:00 CStreamBufferRecorder:top()
08-12-2005 00:02:00 CStreamBufferRecorder:top() status:0 0 started:1 stopped:0
08-12-2005 00:02:00 CStreamBufferRecorder:top() status:1 0 started:1 stopped:1
08-12-2005 00:02:00 CStreamBufferRecorder:top() done
08-12-2005 06:47:16 CStreamBufferRecorder::FinalRelease()
The timing all looks ok as it's a 1 hour program with 2 minutes either side.
When it goes wrong, it looks like this:
28-12-2005 22:58:26 CStreamBufferRecorder::Create() Record D:\MyRecordings\E4_Lost_200512282300p5826.dvr-ms

Would somebody be kind enough to advise on what might be going wrong.
Cheers.
