Never used Performon much myself, but mark 'system monitor' and press 'add'. The performance object should be 'Network Interface', choose your network interface and prefered counters. (This is how it works in XP).

If you are able to monitor your network interface via Perfmon, it should also work in PowerScheduler.

you will never guess...

exctrlst.exe from the Windows 2000 Ressource Kit did the trick! Imagine... Vista Business 32bit needs a tool from Windows2000

ok... the TCP/IP Counter was deleted from registry... So please don't ask me why. Now it works like a charm

Hi,

I'm using MP since 2 months in a multiseat configuration (1 tv server / 2 clients) and now I'm searching a solution to power off my server when he isn't used.
The original PowerSchedule plugin works fine (since 2 weeks) : the server wakes up each time is needed (epg update and recordings) but if I want to view a file on my server, I've got to disabled the powerschedule plugin...

That why I've tried your patch :

- I've just replace the powerscheduler.dll into the plugin directory of MPServer on my server (I've made a copy of the original before)
- I reboot the server

But something is going wrong when I configure the plugin (there's a new tab into the plugin with the network activity). When I press the button "OK" of the TVSetup program, I've got an error box. This error is also write into the error.log

AVT*: le journal de liaison d'assembly est désactivé.
Pour activer le journal des échecs de liaison d'assembly, attribuez la valeur 1 à la valeur de Registre [HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Fusion!EnableLog] (DWORD).
Remarque*: une certaine perte de performance est associée à l'enregistrement dans le journal des échecs de liaison d'assembly.

Hi,

The .dll's are for MP1.0 so it will not work in MP1.0.2.

I have finally upgraded to MP 1.0.2 myself, so I will lift the patches and post new .dll's soon.

I've got an other question but not related to the subject of this thread :

I've seen that peoples like Disaster123 make special releases of MP but non-official, why this kind of modifications aren't integrated into official release of MP ? Is there a testing period before the integration or the official modifications are only reserved to few peoples?
