I'd check that the MPC-HC decoder really is using DXVA in MP (right click on it in the filter graph to bring up the properties page).
You may just be suffering from GPU performance issues - see https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/1-0-1-svn-builds-313/1080i-material-not-deinterlacing-under-1-0-1-0-a-58486/ (MP generates a higher GPU load than MPC-HC - this is more of a problem with low-powered integrated GPUs).

At home it was definately using DXVA as the CPU idled at around 5% when playing 720p. Without DXVA, its more in the 23-27% area. Here at work it won't work since the Radeon Xpress 1150 doesn't do DXVA.
@hoborg The Media Player Classic HC version I'm using is 1.2.908.0, but I can see in GraphStudio that the actual MPCVideoDec.ax is 1.2.1161.0! How/where can I get the correct version, and can I just replace it in the system32 folder?
