Did you ever get a chance to try playing those files with VLC to see if you received similar performance?

Hi Guys,

Just an update.

Got home and the problem was still there.

Then I:

1. rebootet router
2. disabled mpextended services
3. added tvservice.exe to ms security essentials exception list
4. disabled xbmc tv server plugin
5. disabled comskip plugin

at last I rebooted server.

Im happy to say that everything is working absolutely perfect now. No clue what caused or fixed my issue. Will look into that a little further and report back with what i find.

I had the same issue after reinstalling the server on a new machine and placing it elsewhere in the house, and changing to RTSP. I had discontinuity errors in TsReader very frequently, but could seldom see any problems in TsWriter.

I added an exception in MSSE for tvservice.exe, and instantly the errors stopped. I could make them appear and disappear again by removing and adding the MSSE exception, so it was very clear that was the problem. I guess it does something with the process and/or RTSP stream at certain intervals which introduce delays, and the clients don't like that.

So thank you for the list of things to try.
