PIN Protect a Series (1 Viewer)

Funny how once you start talking about something then other ideas will come to mind.

I remember reading once that setting up user profiles for MyTV-Series would break it considerably. And if this has already been requested, I apologize (I've searched this forum for "parental", "password", or "pin" and came up blank.)

I'm sure you can guess where this is going, so here it is. Is it possible to apply a PIN password to a series so that it is required when opening an episode from the series? I figured it would get messy if you were trying to protect all data from the series as that would involve a lot of tweaking to the episode views ("latest" and "favorites" would have to check to see if a PIN had been entered before showing and that'd be a hassle!).... so honestly, I'd just ask that the PIN be prompted when trying to play an episode from a password protected series. My TV Series collection ranges from "Dora the Explorer" and "Transformers" to "South Park" and "Metalocalypse", so I'd like to be able to grant the kids free access without worry. A PIN prompt that occurs ONLY when trying to play (or resume the play of) a protected episode is what I'd consider the least intrusive form of parental control.

And option to automagically PIN protect any series of a TV-MA rating would be cool too, but that's just icing!

I think it wouldn't be too hard to add using BakerQ method described as it would be just a simple check to see if the series table contains a pincode.

I guess it wouldn't be too hard also adding it at the series\group level. Would need to ignore reloading previous screen when resuming from standby though if pin entered.

You can add it to the Issue Tracker as an enhancement if not already done.

I would also very much like this feature and have starred the enhancement with comment. The Dora the Explorer vs. South Park comment is exactly why this is so necessary.
