I can confirm that I have the same problem with my setup. It's a bug imo since it used to work with 1.0.2 stable and stopped working after switching to 1.1.0 RC1, although the bug is minor it is very confusing for the user. I have the possibillity to switch between 1.0.2 and RC1 via disk images so let me know if you want logs from both setups to pin point the problem.

Yeah same here. Fresh upgrade from 1.02 2 1.1rc1. Both x64 win7 and vista 32.

Cannot reproduce the issue Playing MP3 or video and then using the Main menu Play DVD or My Video's Play DVD -> both start the DVD playback nicely.

The menu item is labeled "Play disc" in the main menu. The good news is that it seems to be fixed in RC2? It works fine here anyway (and only change was going from SVN 25080 -> RC2).

Maybe others can confirm?

Please retest with RC2. If not reproducible we can close the issue.

Problem is resolved... The disc does play now. (With TV, Music, Video's playing) Still having issues where the system does not ask if you want to play the disc though, but that's not a biggie...

So the problem with having to manually stop other playing media is resolved, but still problems with the play disc menu item I guess.

Resolved the Mantis issue. The other issue should be tried to reproduce and then enter to mantis if it can be reproduced.
