Play karaoke (*.kar, *.cdg, *.lrc) in Media Portal (1 Viewer)

I'm having exactly the same issue, been pulling my hair out over this.
I have tried on MP 1.02 and MP 1.1 Beta with various codecs. I am able to play the .cdg files with Windows Media Player, but not from within mediaportal.
I have also tested 2.3 directX and the ver 3 Beta, but the problem remains exactly the same.
Can anyone please help.

I had the same problem. I fixed my problem by uninstalling 2.3 directx then installing 2.2 directx everything works great now.

Same here, and I have try 2.2, 2.2b and 2.3

Are you able to play .kar files in My Vidoes and regular .mid files in My Music module? What audio codecs you are using in My Videos?

I have not try to play .kar file or midi.

I have codec so I can play mp3 and other video and sound system
