thank you

But now, i have got some new problems.
So i'm using an external av receiver with spdif (optical cable)

When i am watching a DVD with Media Portal it's Dolby Digital, its OK.

But when i'm watching a 6 channels ac3 xvid movie it is only stereo but if am using media player classic it's Dolby Digital.

And when i am watching a stereo movie it's no sound via spdif. but its not working with media player classic too.

I am using k-lite codec pack and here are my pics..

Stereo movie:

5.1 movie:

I'm using in the media portal the ffdshow for audio codec where the ac3 and dts is on spdif.
What should i do?

I just checked your file and the problem is the Microsoft demuxer used by both, WMP & MediaPortal. That demuxer does not support those files muxed this way. As you can only use Microsoft's muxer in MP/WMP you're lost there for now. As said, this combination is only defined for DVD, not for MPEG files. That's the problem about it.

I'm afraid there's nothing you can do about it. Or anyone has a different suggestion/idea?

Just checking to see if over time I'd be able to play my muxed MPEG/DTS files natively, or WMP would now let you change demuxers (say to the Nero one) that supports an Audio Pinout on muxed MPEG/DTS files.

Thanks
Nathan
