After upgrading from my really old (think it was 1.0 RC1) version of MP to 1.1.0 Beta 1, any .pls playlist containing multiple entries (streams) won't work anymore. No indication of any fault, they just won't start or play. .pls "lists" containing single entries work just fine.

Example content of a (working) single entry playlist:

[playlist]
NumberOfEntries=1
File1=http://mediasrv-the.musicradio.com/ChoiceFM?.wma
Title1=http://mediasrv-the.musicradio.com/ChoiceFM?.wma
Length1=-1
Version=2

Example content of a (now non working) multiple entry playlist:

[playlist]
NumberOfEntries=2
File1=http://mediasrv-the.musicradio.com/ChoiceFM?.wma
Title1=http://mediasrv-the.musicradio.com/ChoiceFM?.wma
Length1=-1
File2=http://mediasrv-sov.musicradio.com/ChoiceFM?.wma
Title2=Choice FM - Choice FM
Length2=-1
Version=2

I've got playlists containing all kinds of streams, not just .wma, and it's the same with all of them. Only single entry lists work in the new MP version. And I don't know if this is because of a change inside MP or maybe 1) a matter of incorrectly configured playlists or 2) a setting somewhere in the MP configuration.

With the old MP version, btw, multiple entry playlists were splitted by MP when clicked. Similar to opening a folder, MP opened the playlist, showed all entries and started playing the first one.

Sorry if this has been asked before but I really couldn't find the right info through forum search. Neither did I find the old .pls configuration thread I remember reading a long time ago.

Edit: I use these playlists in My Music. Also changed header from multiple entries to multiple streams.

It seems almost like noone has seen this problem. I guess I'll just have to split all my .pls lists into separate, single entry files then. But that's not a funny job.

My reason for playing these files in My Music, btw, is that I use PureAudio for Asio output and want radio streams routed this way too. Haven't checked, though, but at least with older MP versions the My Radio section did not play through PureAudio.

(I've of course tried disabling PureAudio but this behaviour remains the same using the native Bass player.)

    It's a problem within MP.
    Haven't figured out yet, when it has been introduced, but it'll be corrected for the 1.1 version.

    Took a while before upgrading but tonight I went with the latest SVN (24102) - and now none of my .pls lists work, not even the single entry ones that used to work. I just get the error message popup window (translated) "Can not play: *stream name*".

    Had to wait long for a new public SVN. Now (24281) single stream playlists work again. And I can enter/navigate through my multiple lists (did not work with earlier SVNs) - but MP still won't play any streams inside. Tested with identical streams I've got in both multiple and single entry lists and they just don't start playing. No error message or other sign of anything wrong.

    for me it works fine.
    i'm using the multiple entry playlist that you posted in your first post.
    it shows the 2 entries and i can click on both of them to play the streams
