Please help - can't install tv client (1 Viewer)

Hi folks,

I ran the uninstaller when trying to reinstall the client, and it crashed halfway through.

Now I can't install a new version, even though all the Tv client stuff is removed - there are no mediaportal directories left around.

The installer states that there is no previous existing tv client on the machine, but when I click "install" to install a new one, it tries to do something and then fails to start to install.

This is killing me.

I expect it's a registry thing maybe?

Any ideas on how I can convince MP to install?

Run ccleaner, look for any entries in registry that refer the mediaportal and select fix them.

Ok, thanks, we got past that, now I'm getting "failed to create tv server database".

Where is the old database so that I can delete it?

I assume that's the problem, but I have no MP dirs!
