same here on win 7 32 bit

actually rc3 working pretty nice here

just 1 thing, while MP client on the Server is active no web stream possible here

so either local or external works, not both ...

copied the two aspnet-dlls to "\Plugins\MPWebServices\htdocs\bin" and now i see the login page and the error is gone. but when i try to login the site just reloads. :/

edit: restarted the tv-server and now all i get is a white site. :/

Finally got around to trying it out but its not working out I installed RC3, configured it for a custom port, stopped tvservice service, copied the plugin and 3 dlls to server's plugin folder (and MPWebServices\htdocs\bin folder) and restarted tvserver. Netstat showed a listener at my custom port. But when I try to open page in firefox, I get a blank page. The last few lines of tv.log are as under:

Using just the plain RC3 version does not work either (it gives an error about mismatched tvdatabase versions). Its probably due to my MP version which is 1.1.0-RC2. I would like to compile the RC3 version from sources but I cant find any on https://sources.team-mediaportal.com/svn/public/trunk

Do you mean MediaPortal 1.1.0 RC3? I was a little confused as I read your post because in my previous post, when I mentioend RC3, I was referring to MPWebServices RC3

I would like to compile the RC3 version from sources but I cant find any on https://sources.team-mediaportal.com/svn/public/trunk

Are the sources (for MPWebServices) available on this svn link? Can you please point me to the correct location in the repo? Believe me, I have searched but I cannot find anything on MPWebServices.

Sorry, i meant, let's wait for MP RC 3 to be releases.

The repo you pointed out is the MediaPortal SVN repository.
Since MPWebServices is a plugin, the sources reside in the MP Plugins repo

Thanks for pointing the way. I did not know there was a separate repo for plugins Perhaps someone can add this to the wiki at MediaPortalDevelopment/MediaPortalSVN - MediaPortal Manual Documentation.
