Fixed .... sorta .

OK, as i said in my previous post, the capture filter does default to what you last set it to in the PlextorGoCap utility. I fixed the source and got the freakin thing working finally. Could someone point me in the right direction to get the changes in SVN? Maybe even get on of the programmers to check out my work and give the code i changed a good combing through? Thanks guys. Hope i can contribute more from here out. I think MP is awsome.

For any of you non-believers... see the jpeg

It would be really great if someone would help me streamline my code to get it in an SVN

Here is the new TvCardAnalog.cs file. I created it from changes made to the SVN you posted for the first Plextor test. Hope you can improve on it some. Thanks.

OK. So heres a few new tidbits ive found out. It seems like you have to be using the WinDVR5 that came with the plextor, otherwise you cannot save the default setup for the capture filter and its capture pin to MPEG2. I have found, however, that there two registry keys that allow you to set the compression mode i.e. MPEG2, and divx compatibility i.e. 0=off 1=on. The values are actually in a setup text file in the folder that the driver setup files get extracted to . I've yet to test this so far b/c, now that ive gotten the darn thing working... you guessed it ... my wife is watching TV. So, as soon as i get a chance, ill try again to play with the settings to break it and fix it and see if i can come up with a good method to keep the card working for good. Till then.

Looked at the code and looks far too complicated than it needs to be IMHO.
I think we can avoid the InterVideo mux altogether.

I would have done it for you but your VNC version was an older build and I couldn't send files to test on your PC.
If you fix that I can have another look. I put the latest VNC release on your desktop.
Also I'm looking into setting the encoding type in TVServer rather than using an external app.

I should also say that when i do a scan for channels in the TVServer setup on the Plextor, it zooms through the channels and doesnt add any to the list. Its not really a big problem right now. I just add channels with my hauppauge card, which works good, and map them to the plextor also.
