Only thing i would could imagine is:
1. Organize the Media files on your server with Moving Pictures and set WOL-Powermanager to wake up your server if you enter Moving Pictures
2. Disable WOL-Power Manager for My Videos and then play the videos from the USB stick from there.

I dont think that WOL-Powermanager can differ if you open the USB Stick or your Network Share in MyVideos, but i havnt tried it yet.

There is also a third possibility: You can configure a remote button in the Configuration and disable the myvideos in WOL-PowerManager.

Then you could decide if you want to wake up the server, by pressing the configured remote button or keep the server offline.

    Hi.
Any plans for a 1.2 RC compatible mpei package? Not that I need this (WPM is running quite well on RC here) but I believe some others are very interested in.

Nice to still see some interested users in this project ;-)

I will recompile and upload it very soon ...

    Hi.
I love this. Especially the Server Status Display in Basic Home is really useful as my server is located downstairs. So I have nice control if server is awake or asleep...

The problem described beneath is solved :). Seems that WOL isn't working on a/my pci NIC. Using my onboard NIC again (1Gbps pci vs. 100Mbps onboard :-( )

    Thanks for the great plugin!

I just tried the plugin for the first time. Trying to save some power/money :).

I found this plugin in my quest to get WOL working for my file serving pc.
Through the normal methods I read that my router (Linksys WRT 320N) has a nasty restriction: I can't forward any port through the broadcast channel (xxx.xxx.xxx.255).
Which I read is necessary for WOL to work through a router.

With the WOL plugin I hoped that this restriction wouldn't be a problem, hoping that the plugin worked through different ways.
But alas, with the plugin I wasn't able the awake my server. Could this be because off the limitations of my router?

I'm pleased to hear from you that it works. FYI: If you are in the same subnet as the other pc you want to wake up, there is no routing required. Only if you try to wake your pc over WAN (internet) or have diffrent subnets in your LAN you have to route UDP port.
