    Hi there,

    I'm new to the whole HTPC-Thematic and at the moment I'm setting up my first system. As MP with all it's skins and plugins is very complex and it takes some time to get fully into it I'm at the moment suffering a little bit from an information overload :)

    As a fanart geek I like the things DVDart can do, but after nearly 48 hours working on setting up MP and all the plugins I like to have I've managed to messup the StreamedMP-XML files for MovingPictures and MPTVSeries completly.

    Also deinstalling and reinstalling StreamedMP has not really helped as something is going completly wrong. So I made the decision to do a clean reinstall of the whole application and then copy the working settings from the other plugins back into the right folders.

    Could please someone provide me his actual already modified xml-files for DVDart and streamedMP (Moving Pictures and TVSeries) including everything I need for the rotating disc(graphic?) / Clear Art and Clear Logo and the pathes where to put these files to ? Would be a great help and spares me some time to not go through the whole 24 pages of this thread again and maybe messing up my files again.... Or pointing me to one post with all needed files would help to as I'm also working on some other issues with other plugins I've messed up :(

    I'm running on MP 1.30 RC and actual Moving Pictures and TVSeries....

    Many thanks in advance

    Quantor

    Quantor, attached find my xml files which should be copied into C:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\skin\StreamedMP. Ideally you should make a copy of your existing ones.

    Also note that the attached xmls contain other modifications done by myself, so might not perform as expected on your system, but worth giving a try, or else just get the sections marked as follows:
    1. movingpictures.common.details.xml : <!-- m3rcury - ClearLogo -->
    2. movingpictures.fanart.listview.xml : <!-- m3rcury : Rotating DVDArt -->
    3. TVSeries.Fanart.EpisodeList.xml ; <!-- m3rcury - ClearLogo -->
    4. videoOSD : <!-- m3rcury - ClearArt -->

    Regards

    @m3rcury:

    Have tested your Files and they're working for me so far. Thanks again for that.

    Two questions came into my mind:

    1. How can I reduce the seize of the rotating DVD a little bit ?

    2. Is it possible to create somehow some kind of Overlay which will permanently display the Clear Logo or Clear Art while watching a movie or a series in the top right or left corner ?

    Rgrds,

    Hi there,
    my system has finally started to import DVDArt when I upgraded to 1.3RC today, but I've found an error when I select the DVD art in the plugin config.
    Unable to cast COM object of type "Shell32.ShellClass" to interface type "Shell32.IShellDispatch5"
    I've had a quick search on this term, and it seems to be a difference in the shell library between XP and Vista / 7 (my Media Center is still using XP).

    jimwin, the plugin was built on Windows 7, but I think that if you let it upload automatically, it should work. Even uploading manually without using the preview should work as well as those are not using any windows functions. Can you try it out and advise.

    Hi m3rcury, yes its definitely doing the upload, so perhaps its only cosmetic.

    On another note, I'm trying to get it to display clear art on the video search bar, but I can't get it to display anything.
    TV Series log is showing that it's selecting the clear art as follows:
    00000025 - 20/02/2013 10:34:26 - Setting play image C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\Thumbs\TVSeries\ClearArt\FullSize\80379.png for property #TVSeries.Play.ClearArt
    and I'm using the updated VideoOSD.xml file from the Titan Extended thread as attached:

    The strange thing is, I'm not sure it's even referencing the videoOSD.xml file, as if I clear the cache and rename the file, I still get the same unchanged seek bar etc. Any advice?

    jimwin, there were some discussions on TITAN skin files from page 20 onwards. Can you have a look and see if you find your answer there.

    I installed the plugin and changed the original xml file with the one from the first post. MP doesn't show the disc image, everything is like before. I cleared the cache also. What did I wrong?

    This kind of stuff should probably be edited into the original post. (y)
