I forgot to mention this, but i believe Armand has implemented the remote control api. That means if you use our web client, android, ios or win phone app you can remote control it.

I've ended up going full circle - I was using Mediaportal, then switched to XBMC, then Plex, and now back to Mediaportal!

Plex plugins are seriously broken, but it streams brilliantly to my kids iPads and they also have a Roku each.

This looks like it could be a good replacement for Plex. Is there an ETA on the iOS app?

    Hi there,

I am interested in this as a replacement to TVseries and MovingPictures.

This will allow me to centralise all my data/DBs for multiple clients, and reduce the number of plugins :)

That's exactly what I want it for too :)

Glad to hear it. the intention is to have it launch in conjunction with the upcoming iOS7 release.

    Hi there,

The backend MB Server3 looks good and seems to be working good.

I'm waiting to see the MePo plugin develop a little more.

I'm hoping the plugin will be developed soon, and be able to replace the basic functionality of TVseries and MovingPictures (ideally appear on the home page via buttons, and then go into the various views within the plugin).

    Hi there,

The only question/issue I foresee, is any duplication of systems. With vanilla MePo (and this plugin) with MBS, everything will be ok.

But I use MP Web Extended, which gives me access/supports TVseries and MovingPictures. By using MBS I will lose that support (but I realise MBS has its own web/streaming), but it will mean two interfaces/systems to access TV and Movies/TVSeries/Pictures/Music.

Well we have an open api, and we're growing rapidly due to the number of platforms we're on on. If the author of MP Web wanted to expand his market he could acquire a lot of new users by adding support for our api. This his app could do many of the same things that ours does, you could stay on MP Web and still use our other client apps like ios and roku.
