Unfortunately this is not possible, I have 3 equal as a media center I can be in any of the rooms in which they stand and therefore manage, import, etc. etc. And on the server interface, this NAS remotely controlled.

ajs, then you have to do your synchronization using different tools as the plugin is not designed for that setup. The design supports one master and as many as you want slaves.

MPSync v1.0.0.2 has just been released. Fixed a bug in the watched/resume update, which now should work as expected without hitches.

You can download from link in post #1.

Thanks for the continued support (y)

You could still use only one pc (the master) for imports. You could use Remote desktop to take over the master htpc, start import and let the other pc's synchronize.
I use remote desktop, and its very easy to use. With win7 I created some sort of shortcut on the desktop. With win8 there is a metro GUI tile for that.
I also created a cmd file on the 'master htpc' to restart the machine, so it automatically restarts Windows and no password is required to login again. But for me, a reboot isnt a problem of a master htpc.

This is inconvenient, rather than just clicking a couple of buttons on the remote, I have to go to a remote desktop, run the configurator as by itself is not particularly media portal launched in terminal mode, etc. etc.

And let's say I make one of my HTPC that is a master of it will update the database, I do not put it on this plugin, open access to its database on a network, on the other put the plug in and configure.
    So it will be correct?

Or to do a separate location for the database in the network?

And then there will be synchronized series? After all, there plugin itself is looking for information, and it happens to each of the HTPC. The same is about the music itself.
How does the plug-in works with plug-ins and similar Trakt.tv?

I did not understand exactly what you intend to do as did not manage to follow what you said.

Currently the plugin will replicate all the tables in a selected database. In my case for Moving Pictures and TVSeries, what I did was to disable the sraping while in GUI so that when MediaPortal is running these 2 plugins will not scrape for new movies/series. On the master HTPC, I launch the plugin itself to scan for new movies and series. Then MPSync will take care to update the other installations with data and even the thumbs, fanart, backdrops, artwork, etc.

Hi again, after some testing now i have following experiences

    - syncing working fine when using 1.0.0.1 on main htpc (1.0.0.2 made issues here not replicating new tv series), always use manual sync there ...
    - clients syncing nice from server database using 1.0.0.2 the new titles i add

what i dont get to work is watched status and resume status ... i ticked on all clients to sync this status, also on server.
nvm now what i do, start at client a, continue on client b it never asks me to continue from position xxx ...
also the watched status, when i watched a series on client a its set as watched there, now when i goto client b its still unwatched there ...
when i now add a new episode or similar on main htpc and sync, all watched are unwatched again ... only when i tick watched
in tv series app "mark as watched" ... may i have to do something special to get this working ?

for an hint thanks ahead ;)

Synchronization viewed TV shows and movies can make a plug Trakt.tv

I am experiencing problems due to files being in use.
The setup is as follows: I have a HTPC (Client) and a Server (TV-Server installation only and media storage, running WHS2011). The main database is kept on the HTPC. I've MPExtended and WebMediaPortal installed on the server. this is where your plugin comes in really handy, as there are no databases on the server - to keep them up to date, I am running your plugin. Works fine so far, but as long as the TVService and MPExtended service are running, some databases are in use by them, so MPSync cannot overwrite the data. So I've got to stop these services manually *sigh*.
At the moment, I am running MPSync on the client only and push the databases to the server.
Might there be a way to do it the following way: Install MPSync on the Server, wait for the client to come online (it's of course not running 24/7), add an option to mpsync to stop/restart services (which should of course not happen while streaming live TV) before starting synchronisation and fetch the databases?
    Or another, more simple solution?
