Plugin MyDBox (1 Viewer)

Hi there !

I'm writing a plugin to access the DBox (Neutrino) and display the stream in then mediaportal. The status right now is release.

The following functions are included:
- zapping
- epg
- watch the stream
- recording / paying recorded streams

Some ideas I have already taken from the dreambox plugin. Most parts need to be rewritten, because the interface is limited. For the stream I used parts from the UPTV. Thank you guys for the good work !

I key (menu) show OSD (keyboard F9)
if the osd is visible press again I to display the info.
In the setup is now a option for AutoOn

Make sure the files axInterop.AXVCL.dll and Interop.AXVLC.dll are exists in the root folder of the MP

Great idea.....would love to see this running with by good old dbox2,
but when i enable plugin in config, and want to configure it, i get only
an exception you can see in the picture.
In mediaportal.log i found the following error:

2007-02-13 21:50:30.327631 [ERROR][MPMain]: OnMessage exceptionystem.TypeLoadException: Could not load type 'MediaPortal.Util.Config' from assembly 'Core, Version=1.0.2600.36064, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null'.

The same here with 2.2 and with latest svn. In the latest svn ist a 2. mistake on skine "cant find xml...."

Hi folks,

this Version was compiled for a 0.2.2 and NOT for the svn. I'm sorry but there is a change in the config class. I will release a svn built as soon i got some more time

Hi,

Just got into Mediaportal, so please be gentle on me. I've had a satellite DBox2 for a long time now, so I thought I'd try the My Dbox plugin. I have installed it ok (on MP 0.2.2.0), and also installed VLC 0.8.6. (I know VLC is working as I use a progam called WinGrabTV which requires VLC to be installed). However, I cannot get a picture from my Dbox2. I have "My Dbox" in my main list, and when I access it I get a black screen. I do get the channel name and satellite name displayed below the black screen though, and I can use the group and channel options to actually change channel on my DBox2. I copied the .dll file into \plugins\windows and the .xml file into all of my \skins folders. I've also enabled both MyDbox and VLC in the plugins option.

Can anyone suggest anything?

which image is on your dbox ? Did you push the TVon button ?

Try this : Install VLC and the Activex component. Go to your favorite web browser and type

http://dbox-ip/control/exec?Y_Live&url
you should get something like
http://dbox-ip0:31339/0,0x006b,0x080d,0x080e

This is the actual stream adress for vlc.

Try http://dbox-ip/
You see all programms and be able to play live stream.

If not try to play a stream and send me the log files.
