plugin problem? (1 Viewer)

This may be a simple problem and I may be missing something obvious, I've installed the server software and it all seems fine, however I tried to install the client plugin (on a laptop) and it appeared to go smoothly (no errors) then when I fired media portal up on the laptop it just went in to a normal startup, it didnt ask me for the ip address of the mediaportal server?

Have I missed something stupidly simple or is there something wrong?

Hello m0rph3us,

the plugin tries to connect to the machine it is installed on. If it doesn't find a TV-Server there it will ask you for the Hostname / IP of the TV-Server.

You would have found out if you simply had started the TV function...
