My motivation to fix this plugin just got a big boost because of the recent release of the Kinect SDK 1.7. I have a working prototype locally now and some better gestures. Just need to adapt the mediaportal plugin code for 1.3. Is there still some interest left for this plugin?

Indeed there is - I am very interested as it would be nice to control Mediaportal with Kinect instead of using the Xbox as a Media center which it don't do very well in my opinion. So please adapt the plugin code
