OK, I think this fixed my problem, not sure but this might be a work around.... for me anyway.


What I did was edit the parser section of the .xml to......

ie:

<method>2</method> <----------(use method 2)
<get>http://</get> <----------------(just add your station url in the get area)
<search></search>
<offset></offset>
<start>Interpret&lt;/th&gt;&lt;td class="wsELPink"&gt;</start> <--------(put in start area)
<start2>Titel&lt;/th&gt;&lt;td&gt;&lt;strong&gt;</start2> <------(put in start2 area)
<stop>&lt;</stop> <--------(put in stop area)
<devider></devider>
<image></image>
<imageUrl></imageUrl>
<swap>no</swap> <--------(put in no for swap area)
</parser>
</profile>


Well at least I don't get that error popup anymore, and I can have my own custom stations back to.

Here is 1.2 Beta compatible version.

- files in program -> put in directory where MediaPortal.exe is
- files in plugins -> put in subdirectory plugins of program directory (program\plugins)
- files in config - > put in config directory, usually c:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal or Vista / Win7 equivalent

StreamRadio isn't showing up as an installed plugin in the Extensions plugin in MP 1.2 beta, was i suppose to install an older version of StreamRadio before the StreamRadio.rar files in post 293?

I would say so, installing plugins manually will not show them in extensions plugin. Not sure why you want it to be shown. It's not very important, as long as it works But, you can install official version from MPEI, and then replace files with the ones from archive.

Thanks SilentException it works fine. I like to update plugins with the Extensions plugin is why i'd like to have it shown there, but perhaps there are not plans to make an .mpe1 for this plugin then it wouldn't matter.

Thanks a LOT man!! Great that its now working for 1.2b as well. I don't know what happened to kroko and why he's not responding. Lets hope he's OK. But its great there are people like you!

I tried to add an Italian radio station which can be played now. But
when starting the station an error popup occurs and stays on top
of the screen. Pls see screen shot and log below. Any help is
appreciated

Is shoutcast support still broken? Can't see any station...

Maybe an simillar solution like Shoutcast Directory Plugin?

Would prefer to use only one plugin and Streamradio seems to have mor options, espacially the butrate filter.
