Sorry, I'm not able to do this in the foreseeable future.
No worries - felt I had to ask tough... :)

It can be done in a messy way...using VODSERVER.
Thank you, I will try it altough it looks like the solution is both, as you say, messy and a little bit over my head... :)
For example, I'm not sure how to edit the .xml to pass the channel name/number as a parameter.

Read the online wiki. It's pretty straightforward. You define your channels in service-channels.xml I believe.

I have now tried VODServer but come to the conclusion (might be wrong) that it can not be used to run executables when switching channles using Analog tuners in TV-server (which is what I'm using (Hauppauge Colossus)). I think the functionality of VODServer is limited to the DVB-IP tuner of the MediaPortal TV-Server.
