I have MP RC! working fine on the server computer, can watch TV etc.
The client computer works fine apart from the TV, I can watch all the videos from the server on the client etc.

When entering the Host IP in client PC for TV, it comes up with 1433 is blocked.

All the firewalls are disabled on the Server and Client PC, I have setup the SQL to allow local and remote access and still no go.

Any body able to help me on this please?

I have EXACTLY the same problem except that the error also occurs when I try to watch TV from the server itself. Can anyone help? Thanks!

This is still happening with v1.0.1. Though not being able to connect to TCP 1433 does not stop one MP client and VLC from displaying the TV. Still no real usable result as the server still is very unstable and often viewing hangs after several channel changes. I have another client that will only play a channel for 1 minute before stopping, then selecting another channel gets another minute.

All firewalls are disabled.
