port used by tv-server (1 Viewer)

Hello,

i wish to be able to connect to my tv server over the internet.

My question is: What ports a required open, and witch protocol? TCP/UDP....

i have a 10mbit/10mbit connection witch i think is more than enough for 1 client. Anyone know how mutch bandwidth it takes to watch tv ?

the wiki manual list a firewall config http://wiki.team-mediaportal.com/TV-Engine_0.3/config-firewall and as far as bandwidth goes, on my 100Mbps LAN I get about 12%usage for HDTV and 7% for sdTV so that should equate to approx a 12 or 7 Mbit connection required. you can probably do SD only and then it may depend on the rest of the Internet a bit. I actually wanted to do the same but now seeing that much LAN usage I guess my rather slow ADSL connection wouldn't' quite keep up (64/512 I think)
