As written in the headline I wanted to know, if there's a possibilily to decrease the buffer time to provide faster zapping.
With DVBViewer my Technisat Cablestar HD2 are able to zap from channel to channel within 1s, Mediaportal needs mostly 3seconds to display the chosen channel. When I watch under "manual control" in my tvserver config, I can see, that all channels are tuned very fast, but the long buffer time avoids a faster displaying the new channel. Any xml file or something, that can be modded?

    Greetings

As mentioned, there is an artificial delay where MP waits for additional button presses. If no additional button is pressed, it times out (about 1.5 seconds I think) and then actually changes the channel in 1 second.

I set mine to 500ms and I'm happy.

AW: Possibility to decrease buffer time for faster zapping

You are only able to setup 0,1,2,3,4 seconds. 0.5 or 1.5 and so on will not be stored. Only full seconds.
