I have been testing to see if i could get the TS-Reader to connect with the microsoft DTV decoder.

I changed the mediatype to H264 and changed some other properties as described in:

H.264 Video Types (Windows)

I tested this in GraphStudio (MP does not work atm for me on H264 channels so i couldn't test that) and it worked fine with the Microsoft DTV decoder.

Edit: I changed the compression to 462h else you get a black screen in FFDshow.

    Hi.

I also tested it with xp sp3, with coreavc and Cyberlink h264(technotrend edition dxva:eek:n)
Reason for xp test: just that nothing is broken in xp. :)

    Coreavc: Not working.
Cyberlink: Got picture, but picture runs 2 sec and freezes for 1 sec and again runs 2 sec and son on...

    regards,

I can't find in any documentation if the field biCompression should be set, and to what. Leaving this field out works for FFDShow and Microsoft DTV

Well that does look like and improvement. I will try to see if i can make more of your scenario's work, but i can not promise anything.

If somebody else has time, please also look into it.

One possibility would be to change the stream type based on the codec that has been changed (as your patch breaks some codecs that have been working). It is a hack, but we cannot implement the real bitstream / NALU support for TsReader in 1.1.0 time frame.

How did you connect the divx filter? It won't connect here.
