I'm confused. Can someone tell me how exactly to use the templates? Sending them front or back doesn't help. Do I have to use them as a mask or something? If not, how am I supposed to cut my image to fit exactly in the rounded rectangle?

if you use photoshop then right click layer, add clipping mask. if you use the png, you need to use image software that supports layers, and create a mask by using the magic wand on the white area then invert the selection and use it to subtract from the layer you are adding on top.

Second question: how do I actually choose to use these images? If I copy images into the C:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\skin\Titan\Media\BasicHomeImages\pictures folder, they don't appear in the drop-down box for Pictures in Titan Configuration.

Put the image in the extended folder as well (ie 2 copies)
skin/themes/extended/media/basichomeimages
or whatever it is called. bascailly the extended theme equivalent.
use same file name for both folders

Dear all,
I have an issue with the template for Titan Extended.
Maybe I'm not doing it well but when I created a button with the template, it appears smaller as the ones given with the skin and the blue circle around don't fit correctly with it.
I've seen that the template size is 413x311 as the original buttons are 373x271.
I'm really not a king of images with layers and transparency, so if someone could help...

I'm sorry to say that but when I open your file with Paint Shop Pro X4, I have like 4 independent images "titan extended template", "titan extended template 2", "titan extended template 3" that are black images and "titan extended template 4",with the graffiti "template button".
There is no layer and no masks.
Is it a bug from Paint Shop Pro ?
I didn't have problem opening the old files with all the layers and masks.
