Postprocessing XMLTV file to add +1 channels (1 Viewer)

Hi

Many TV channels have + 1 hour delayed "copies" (e.g ITV4, ITV4+1).


Many of these +1 channels do not have program listings provided for XMLTV from listings providers.

Post processing the downloaded XMLTV to add a copy of say ITV4 but timeshifted by 1 hour to make ITV4+1 would be very easy. Also being able to dispense with downloading e.g. CH4 and CH4+1 would make downloading listings quicker etc.

Is anyone doing this already?

Is there an easy way of running a .exe file after Webepg has grabbed the listings but before MP has read the listings?

Well, I have a different way to do this. Copy the grabber for the +1 channels to a new file and just change the timezone attribute in the <Info...> tag in the grabber so that the start time is correct for your timezone. You can get a list of valid timezone strings from http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms912391(WinEmbedded.11).aspx
