I have been trying the new TVE v.3 and got most things to work except powerscheduler hibernate/resume. I am under the impression that is supposed to work right out of the box?

Today I reinstalled a fresh MP0.2.2 with SVN Build 13164 (28.02.2007 / 21:39 CET) and a fresh TV-server/plugin. I zapped the Mediaportal directory after uninstall but kept the information in the SQL database.

So I started to record a show and left MP in Basichome and after 3 mins it simply turned off (hibernated) the computer... ie it did not work as expected.

I attached my Mediaportal.log and TV.log.

Am I doing something wrong?

    Powerscheduler does not support TVE3

    In the future possibly.

PVRScheduler has a new version for TVE3, but have not tried it yet.

    Me too.

TVE3 is awesome but I won't use it until it supports powersheduler.

Can't leave my computer on the whole time!

Remember this is BETA software, and what FRODO has achieved, in a relatively small timespan is GREAT.

All the extra's are slowly slotting into space, so give CREDIT where CREDIT's due.

For those people who have a non-critical setup, TVE3 is the way to go, and all feedback is WELCOMED

    Thank's to Frodo and TEAM

PD, I cant more than agree with you. I have been using MP for over a year now and it is getting better and better all the time. The work on the new tv server is amazing, and the progress is great. I am sure there are many of us waiting for a non beta release. Until then the TVE2 is preforming very nicly.

For me I am totally sold on the TVE3s ability to record several channels on the same MUX. In my set up I would be able to record all five (5!) interesting channels at the same time. This is naturally worth waiting for.
