I found a problem now using the plugin with v013. If I press pause in timeshift, the plugin hibernates the PC after the 5min set in the config. Waking up the PC brings back the screen as before, but the show is very choppy and the only way to solve this is to turn off TV or timeshift.
Thanks, not that I like bugs but I like when people give me error reports.

Me too, I've also noticed that MP doesn't handle suspend or hibernate very well.
There are memory leaks and TV, as you mentioned, gets choppy and stuttery if left on while system is put to sleep.

Well, I think it shouldn´t even hibernate when a live TV is paused. Otherwise it must stop the continious recording of live TV in the background and timeshift is useless. :(

Of course system shouldn't hibernate while pausing TV or any other "activity" except when ideling on home window. I will have a look at this problem.

Just to make sure - you're referring to 0.1 beta 3 of the plugin are you?

Ok, since it didn´t hibernate while watching TV until now, I thought it was the actual beta. But after I made the changes in the registry, MrMario said in another thread and played around with VMR and overlay (had overlay the last few days with no problems with your plugin), it hibernated now with VMR9 renderless and Intervideo codecs (WinDVD6) with the two registry hacks from Mantis. Well, I don´t know if it is the actual beta, I have to admit. Is the version shown in the settings? There only v01 is shown. So maybe it´s the first one. Sorry for that.

Hi mama,
Don't be sorry, I just want to know since this is one bug I've tried to resolve. With beta2 and 3 of the plugin you should be able see the version reading mediaportal.log.

Can't close Mediaportal with active Powerscheduler

I tested the Powerscheduler b3 and i find it very usefull. But i have one problem:

when the PowerScheduler Beta 3 Plugin is active i can't close the Mediaportal application V0.0.0.13.

I tried it using the exit Button on the starting page. Then the MediaPortal GUI is still running in the background, but i can't use it. When i use ALT-F4 the GUI is closed, but the MediaPortal is still in the task-list.

The only way to really close it is using the task manager and kill the process. There are no problems when Powerscheduler is not activated.

My System: AOpen EZ65 with Asus 9200SE with Omega Drivers, PVR250, WinXP SP2 with all Service Packs installed

Hi,
This is a problem I'm trying to fix. It all comes from the fact that the "wake up timer" is keeping MP from exiting.
What needs to be done is to stop the timer when user wants to exit.
One bad thing about stopping MP in Task manager is that databases may crash.
