I've been playing with powerscheduler recently.
For TV server single seat install - I believe the client plugin delegates power standby requests to the server plugin.
I wondered how the "idle time" and related settings in each plugin interact.
Specifically, I wanted the client to trigger a standby after 5minutes idle in the home page.
But I don't want the server to ever trigger a standby itself - since I only want standby to kick in if MP client is running. So I disabled the server plugin idle checkbox. But it seems this prevents the client from delegating standby.
Or, Maybe I could set the server idle time to something very very large?!
Have I got all this wrong?
How should I prevent server from issuing standby when MP client isn't present?
Perhaps the server plugin needs a list of processes that MUST be present for it to run (like the existing exclusion list.) ?
