Probably a very noobish question regarding removable drives. (1 Viewer)

Today I reinstalled Windows on my HTPC (going from Win XP MCE 32 bit to Windows 7 64 bit) and as I have LOTS of special edits in my Moving Pictures database ( I really don't want to redo them all), I saved the database and just dropped it into the database folder. My problem is that the external drive with most of my movies on is now called G: instead of H: so Moving Pictures fails to find the items in the database, and give me a prompt as it can't find the drive. What's the easiest way, editing the path somehow, or will simply marking the drive as removable work?

I'm still using 7.5.3 or whatever the stable release is called (waiting for proper skin files to appear for XFactor/Monochrome).

    Thanks

You could just use the Windows drive manager to assign drive letter H: instead of G: and be done with it.

Right click "My Computer" -> Manage -> "Disk Managment" -> right click the drive and -> "Change Drive Letter and Paths"

    Enjoy.
