Since the introduction of this feature: Build 19524: Activated dynamic video pin handling to support faster zapping !!! I can't watch Sky News any more from Astra 19.2

@Pic1 you can see the graph from any other channel except "Sky News"
@Pic2 you can see the graph when "Sky News" playing.

Nothing else changed to my system before and after 19524 build.
I really do appreciate it, if a developer have a look on that. It is probably a bug.

It is obvious that no one cares about for breaking something that used to working ok.
I'm convinced that it is all about the tsreader, it is broken. Look the attached image.

After all those posts, no one of the developers wrote a single line to explain why this happening and why you changed this feature in an RC version.

Gemx did add wrong commit comment when adding that change to SVN. Main purpose of that change is to allow TsReader to provide correct information to the codecs (i.e. frame size etc.), this was a bug that caused many different issues (depending on the codecs.). As a side effect the graph building did also speed up a little bit.

I guess you need to provide a small .ts recording so that gemx can have a look on the issue.

Isnt TVE3 creating the .ts file? That most likely contains the video even when TsReader is not able to playback the video. If it doesnt contain video then the problem is not in TsReader but in TsWriter or some where else in the server side.

Easiest way to check that is to record a short recording from that channel and use VLC to play the video.

No it is not. I was making some tests earlier, I removed Cyberlink codec and forgot to change preferred codec in configuration. Do you want to send you updated logs?
