I had the exact same problem with the Duoflex CT + CI module. I have a Zotac IONITX-P-E board with a single PCIe x16 slot. What worked for me was to tweak some BIOS settings:

- PCIe Spread Spectrum: off
- Force PCIe 2.0 for all cards: on

Both of these options are found under the southbridge settings in the BIOS of my mainboard, but it could be different for your mainboard.

Seems like there is a problem in detecting what kind of PCIe revision the card uses. The second BIOS setting overruled that. I honestly can't say if the card is at fault or the mainboard, but since you seem to have the same problem, it could be the card.

I also tried to contact DD via their shop web form but no response as of yet.

The only PCIe settings I have on my mobo is the busspeed. Put it from Auto to 100, standard PCIe speed. Same result.

    Hi again

I see on Tom's Hardware there is also an overvoltage setting closer to the bottom of the same section as the bus speed setting. Make sure that is set at "normal". I think it is likely that there is a problem with the card, but it could also be a "seating" issue - that the card is not properly fitting into the motherboard. Questions:
    1. Are you overclocking?
    2. Did you also make sure you pulled the power cord out and waited for 20 seconds before you attempted to plug the tuner in? (if not, then you might have damaged the card)

    Thanks for your help everyone.

    Its set to Normal voltage.
    No, no overclocking.
Yes, I didn't have any cables connected at all when I installed the tuner. My pc is under my table.

FYI: I work as a professional IT technician :)

Sorry, someone had to ask the "dumb" questions. ;)
You surely know enough about computers to have done things right in the first place and have tried all the obvious solutions. The "bad sample" explanation is looking more and more likely. I hope DigitalDevices get back to you...

No problem (and it wasn't "dumb" questions)

Yeah, I hope that to. Thanks for your support, mm1352000.
