Problem with Digital Devices Duoflex CT (2 Viewers)

You can never be happy!
Now I have installed it in my HTPC and both tuners work. But when I install my old CAM and card (Conax, from my Floppy DTV/C card) the tuners don't get any signal at all. Does anyone know why? If I remove the CAM it all works but my paychannel doesn't.
I have enabled the CAM support for the both tuners.

I realy dont know what I did different this time but the card is working.

First we tried with only the PCI bridge card and the computer boots up. Then we installed the driver. Everything looking good so far.
Then I installed the tuner and put power connector to the card, boot up and the computer found more hardware, and its installed some more drivers!!!
Everything looks ok now and WMC found the both tuners.

Now its time to install the CI module and it should have power too, he said, and then its time to configure the MP TV server.

Is the card working well with MediaPortal TVServer?

The card, both tuners, works fine in MP. I still have problems with my CI-module and my CAM (used in a Floppy DTV/C card), i.e I cant see any paychannels. When I put my CAM and card in the CI-module I cant get any signal at all.

I still don't know where to start solving this.....hopefully somone has a solution....

Do you use the last tv patched tv service from this tread, you need this for the ci support.

Yes, I think so. I have downloaded and installed the Setup-TvEngine-1.1.2.exe.zip in that thread. Is it all?
I have the 1.1.2 version of MP installed before installation, fully working with my Floppy DTV/C.

I have the 1.1.2 version of MP installed before installation, fully working with my Floppy DTV/C.

This is a different tv server than the original 1.1.2 one, the only difference is that it has support for the digitaldevices ci.
Your ci from your floppy is already supported for a long time, so that's why this is working. The next normal 1.2.0 beta release will include this digitaldevices ci support.

I had the Same Problem. And I have probably a solution.
Can you check the length of the ribbon cables please. The tuner should connected with a ~35cm cable, the CI must have a cable with a maximum of ~25cm! If the CI ribbon cable is longer you have two choices. Contact Digital Devices to send you the right cable, they are aware of this problem. Or try to shorten the cable at your own risk!

That's because the controller chip on the DouFlex Brigde. The Octopus Brigde is not affected with this problem.

But both of my cables are exactly 25 cm.
