    Hi Andrusha777

1.2.0rc will handle everything except the changing service IDs. I can try to provide another patch for that tonight (3 hours from now).

mm1352000, it would be great! Now i have this scheme in MP: when the channel stops working, i simply change SID of it to 0 in TV server config, and it starts working again. I think that i will wait for your patch, then install new MP RC, then apply your patch, then change all SID's of all IPTV channels to 0.

    Hi Andrusha777

Here is the updated patch. :)

Note: the attached patches are only for MP 1.2.0rc and 1.2.1. They will not work with any other version, and they have no effect for anything other than DVB-IP. Please don't ask for patches for other versions...

    Installation Instructions
    1. Stop TV Server.
    2. Take a backup of the following files in your TV Server install folder:
    - SetupControls.dll
    - SetupTv.exe
    - TsWriter.ax
    - TVLibrary.dll
    3. Download and extract the attached files from either DVB-IP[1.2.0rc].zip or DVBIP[1.2.1].zip into your TV Server install folder.
    4. Start TV Server.
    5. Rescan channels if necessary.

    Usage Instructions
You only need this patch if your provider changes the service ID for some of your channels. Just scan with the "enable channel movement detection" option *unticked*, or manually update all your channels and set the service ID to 0.

If your provider only changes the PMT PID for some of your channels then you don't need this patch. You can simply scan more often or enable the "always use PAT lookup" debug option:
    1. Open a command line.
    2. Change directory to your TV Server install directory (example: cd "C:\Program Files\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal TV Server").
    3. Type SetupTv.exe /DebugOptions.
    4. TV Server configuration should start with a new section in the left hand side called "Debug Options".
    5. Turn on "always use PAT lookup".
    6. Close TV Server configuration.

If your provider doesn't use unique ONID + SID (or even ONID + TSID + SID) combinations then you don't need this patch, but you should *never* scan with "enable channel movement detection" enabled.

    Best regards,
    mm1352000
    :)

Hi mm1352000! I have installed last MP 1.2.0 RC1 and applied yor patch. Unfortunalety it does not work. I have checked several channels, but it always says me that can't find channel/programm. Here are logs
In tv server setup i tried to preview channels with SID>0, - no lucky. I have some channels with PMT<>0 AND SID<>0 and some with SID=0 and PMT=0. Not worked any of them :-(

There was an troubles on my IPTV provider network. Will test patch later, when provider will fix his errors. For now, no one channel working with or without patch, VLC not working too.

    Hi again Andrusha777

My immediate question would be: were you using a custom version of the DVB-IP filter to get UDP streams working? You would have lost that in the upgrade...
What happens if you try to restore to the original TV Server DLLs - do the channels with correct SID and PMT PID work?

Hi mm1352000! I'm very sorry that misled you! There was an accident in my provider network, and for now no one iptv channels work even in vlc! When my provider fix this accident, i will be able to test patch! So when i eas installing your patch, the accident HAVE ALREADY been, and i was thinking that the patch was not working...
Regarding to iptv filter - with previous version MP 1.2.0 alpha i was using iptv filter from this thread: https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/...here-48/dvb-ip-mediaportal-iptv-filter-96726/
but after upgrading to 1.2.0 rc1 i have not installed this iptv filter. Do i need to install it again? I think that latest version of iptv filter always committed to SVN?

Hi mm1352000! I'm very sorry that misled you!
No problem - I thought something serious was wrong and I was just hoping it wasn't my patch! :D

The filter has not been updated so you need to install it again. Getting that filter up-to-date will be one of the focuses for 1.3.0.

Hi again, mm1352000! My provider has fixed his issue in iptv network. So i tested your patch - it works! MP now shows channels with SID=0 and PID=0 without any problems! Also channels with sid<>0 are shown correctly.

    Hi micmanm

    Done! :)
The patch is attached to that original post that you linked. Instructions are the same, just use the files from DVB-IP[1.2.1].zip.
